How We Do It



Orders are shipped Monday to Friday.


Note: We endeavour to deliver orders within our regular delivery times during sale periods. However, order processing and delivery times may take 2-4 business days longer.

Metro deliveries will arrive within 2-3 business days from the date of shipment. Regional deliveries may take an additional 3-4 business days.

When you place your order, a confirmation email is sent to your nominated email address.

In the case of any delay in processing times for any delivery service, we will notify you by email.


We are an Australian-based online store that currently only ships to Australia.​




Once your order has shipped, a unique tracking number will be sent to your nominated email address.

Orders of multiple items may be shipped in more than one delivery and will be indicated by receiving various shipping confirmation emails.

Express orders below $149:

All product prices are in AUD currency, and GST is included.

Return postage costs are not refundable, and we do not refund initial shipping charges for goods returned other than for faulty or incorrect items.

What size should I buy?

Each garment has detailed measurements provided in the product description field. Please ensure you review these carefully to ensure you order the correct size.



Occasionally stock availability is not up to date on the Online Store, which means items may not be available at the time of purchase. If this occurs, you will be notified by email as soon as possible and offered a suitable replacement or a full refund. The likelihood of stock not being available is rare as our sustainable approach is to avoid overproduction and waste. Most of our garments are made to order, with accessory stock ordered at the time of purchase.


If you require any changes to your order, including incorrect address details and or item sizing, contact Client Services immediately. If your order is already processed, LIFE IS A PARTY, DRESS FOR IT accepts no responsibility for incorrect details entered. However, our Returns process is available for changing faulty items.

Shipments rejected by the receiver will result in the client incurring redirection fees. LIFE IS A PARTY, DRESS FOR IT reserves the right to cancel any order after purchase.

We conduct ID checks on orders at random for your security. Please verify ID to ensure your order is not cancelled. If your order is selected, our team will be in touch to request further information from you, which may be an electronic copy of a government-issued ID or confirmation of a small amount refunded to the card or account you used for the transaction.
